RECOVERY FROM A-Z

RECOVERY CAPITAL

Recovery capital is the sum of resources that a person needs to initiate and sustain recovery from substance use disorder. The resources, or capital, a person needs depends heavily on the severity of a person’s substance use disorder and the resources they already have. Recovery capital can determine the success of natural and assisted recovery, improve coping strategies, and enhance the quality of life in long-term recovery.
